"The Indianapolis Firefighters Emerald Society Pipes and Drums (IFFESPD) was formed in 1995, not unlike many fire department pipe bands, after a firefighter funeral. A group of 25 firefighters got together, found an instructor and ordered practice chanters, and they were off."
